Campground Description

The Humboldt Historic Campground is a well established campground, conveniently located near the hear of the downtown. With most services available within an easy walk, the campground offers well-treed lots, with friendly knowledgeable staff that are focused on your stay. With suggestions for day-trips to sites around the region, the office also boasts a tourist information booth. In addition, there is a great little mini-golf attached to our office, to help hone those putting skills.

Local Attractions

Humboldt and area, offers a number of unique experiences to enjoy while camping with us. In Humboldt, we have the Historic Water Tower, one of only 4 wood models left in the province. Tours are available to top of the tower, which afford you a panoramic view of Humboldt and the region. You can take in the Humboldt Museum and Art Gallery. In 2019, there will be an ongoing display of the Stories of Humboldt in the museum, while at the gallery on the second floor is a display of some of the items donated to the Humboldt Bronco's after their tragic accident in 2018. In addition, there is a unique area just west of the city, called Original Humboldt. This is an interesting site that has a deep connection to the Riel Resistance. The city of Humboldt offers a large facility called the Uniplex, which houses the Elgar Peterson Area, a pool, curling rink, meeting rooms, the Humboldt Collegiate and a campus of the Carlton Trail College. Plus there is the Vintage club, which focuses on the history of agriculture in the area.
