Campground Description

The Hythe Municipal Campground is a perfect rest stop for visitors along the Alaska Highway corridor. It provides visitors with 21 full service "back in" sites (power, water & sewer). A separate un-serviced tenting /overflow area is available. Camping guests can access: washrooms, showers, firepits, free WIFI, water fill up and dump station. Public day users can access: cook house, washrooms. Dump station available for $5 fee to non registered guests.

Great campsite,rest rooms very clean. Be appreciated if the grass was mowed

CAMPGROUND RULES

Fees - Camping fees are collected in full at the time the reservation is taken.  Visa and Master Card are accepted.  Cheques will Not be accepted. 

Cancellation – Should you need to cancel your reservation we require a 72-hour notice prior to reservation date in order for you to receive a refund minus $5 administration fee and 3% transaction fee.  A refund for the full reservation dates will NOT be refunded should your cancellation be less than 72 hours.

Check in/out times – If the site you are in is reserved for another party for the following day, please vacate the site no later than 2pm on the next day.  If you have made reservations for more than one consecutive night, failure to check in on the first night of the reservation will result in your losing your reservation, unless the office is notified otherwise. Check in time is 2:00pm unless your reserved site is vacant already when you arrive.

Quiet time – Quiet time is from 11pm to 7am.  Guests are required to keep noise at a level that will not disturb other guests.  Violation will result in being asked to leave.

Washrooms – Washrooms are cleaned daily and are there for all campers’ use, so please help us keep them clean and tidy.

Fires – Fires are permitted in firewood rings only.  Firewood is free by accessing the locker with the code: 1254

Pets – Pets must be attended to and leashed at all times, at no time are they allowed to be loose and running in the park.  Please pick up after your pets.

Trash – Dumpsters are provided - please use them.

Group camping – When booking more than one site, you will be required to pay for all sites reserved, plus all the dates at the time of the reservation.  The County  will not be responsible for allocating various sites for those in your group. That will be the responsibility of the group coordinator.

o   If three days (72 hours) or more before 2:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, all camping fees are refunded.

o   If two days (48 hours) or more before 2:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, one night's camping fee is forfeited.

o   If less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours' notice before 2:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, two nights' camping fees are forfeited.

o   If less than 24 hours' notice, no refund available.

No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.


Modifications are subject to a CDN$5,00 (five) fee.


The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

 Total silence must be respected between 10 p.m. until 7 a.m.

 Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

We require 72 hours cancellation in order to receive refund on entire reservation

The price paid for this campsite is for one unit only.  

Arrivals: From 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Departures: Before 12:00 p.m.
