Campground Description
Delfrari Park boasts a campground for RV’s and tents, complete with shower facilities and much more. The park contains a large man-made pond which is stocked with trout and is where you will also find many wild ducks and geese, and other wildlife. Hiking and walking trails meander though the park. In 2018 a challenging disk golf course was added in the park. A splash park for the children, horseshoe pits, ball diamonds, and the Pioneer Village Museum are all nearby.
Local Attractions
The town has many businesses which offer a variety of shopping and public service options. Explore the area! Visit Shiloh Church and Cemetery as one of our local historical sites, known as the First Black Settlement in Saskatchewan. The church was built in 1912 by members who had traveled from Oklahoma in 1905-1911. Since 1991 Shiloh Church was designated a Provincial Historic site. Paddle the beautiful Battle River (Soul Kayaks can outfit you with your own kayak), or drop a fishing line in the North Saskatchewan River. Silver Lake Golf Course, the popular 9 hole course, is located north of Maidstone with excellent turf and a beautiful course design. The course also features a licensed club house with food and beverages.
