Why do I need a “Traveler” account?

A traveler account is a prerequisite to booking a campsite. This allows the sending of a receipt for your booking as well as a means of contacting you in the case of an unforeseen problem with your reservation. Your Traveler account also provides a convenient way of viewing all your reservations at all of the campgrounds serviced by Camp Reservations Canada in addition to inputting “reviews” of the campgrounds you visit.

What if I don’t get an email to activate my Traveler Account?

Please check your “Junk” and “Spam” folders and if it is not there, email info@campreservations.ca

How do I recover my password (or change my password)?

Your password can be reset by clicking on the Login button, inputting your email address, then selecting “Forgot Password”.

Will you make my reservation for me?

For security reasons Camp Reservations Canada does not accept any credit card information through the chat session, nor on the telephone. So we can’t make a reservation for you. However you are welcome to contact the campground directly and they can make a reservation for you.

Can I send an email or call to get help with my reservation?

You can email us at bookings@campreservations.ca and we will respond to your email within 12 hours, or you can call the campground directly.

Why did I not see an email receipt for my reservation?

Please check you “Junk” and “Spam” folders. If the receipt is not there, please email bookings@campreservations.ca and we will get back to you within 12 hours.

Can I use my mobile device to make an online reservation?

Our system has been developed to be “mobile friendly”, but we do recommend that you use a desktop/laptop, tablet, or iPad when possible to experience the full functionality of our sites.

Onsite help at campgrounds and campsites is provided by the campground management. The service we provide at campreservations.ca is the ability to make online reservations, but we do not manage the campgrounds. You can find the campground contact information displayed at at the campsite or listed on our website.

What is the washroom code / WiFi password?

The code(s) should be on your receipt. If the codes are not working or you experience other onsite issues at the campground, contact the campground attendant or phone the campground management directly at the telephone number on the web page.

There is a problem with my campsite, what do I do?

You will have to speak with the campground attendant or telephone the campground at the number that is listed on the web page.

Someone is parked in my campsite, who do I contact?

You will have to speak with the campground attendant or telephone the campground at the number that is listed on the web page.

You can request a change or cancellation on our website. Login to your Traveler Profile and under My Bookings you will find the Modify/Cancel Bookings request. Once you submit your request an administrator will make the changes or contact you if more information is needed. Any time changes made you will receive a new receipt by email.


What happens when my reservation is canceled or changed?

Each campground has their own cancellation policy which will list what portion of their fee is refundable and non-refundable. The $5 reservation fee and it’s associated GST is non-refundable. A credit card processing fee will be deducted from all refunds resulting from cancellations or reduced days.

Is it safe for me to make a payment online?

Yes, our website is secured with the latest technology by Stripe, who has processed billions of online transactions across the globe.

What are the methods of payment online?

We accept only credit cards (Mastercard, Amex and Visa)

How will I know that my booking is confirmed, and payment received?

You will receive a confirmation email within a few seconds, outlining some important campground information as well as your reservation and payment details. If this email does not arrive within a minute, please check your “Junk” and “Spam” folders. If it did not arrive, and you did not receive any error messages when making your reservation, please contact us via the chat message via the icon in the lower right hand side of your screen. Alternatively, send us an email at bookings@campreservations.ca

What if I received an error message while trying to make a credit card payment for my reservation?

If you did not receive an email confirming your reservation, your reservation was not completed, so please attempt it again.

I have feedback or a complaint about the campground/campsite. Who should I contact?

Please contact the campground directly from contact information on the web page. Note - The service we provide at campreservations.ca is the ability to make online reservations, but we do not manage the campgrounds.
