Campground Description

Nestled under the trees of the Red River, Emerson Park offers a place for everyone including un-serviced, serviced, and fully-serviced sites. We have an outdoor pool that is wheelchair accessible. We offer high-speed internet and have nearby hiking trails, a 9-hole golf course with local food and beverage services available. Additionally, public washrooms with showers, a tennis court, baseball diamonds as well as a playground are available. Emerson Park has an outdoor picnic shelter as well as an open-air stage for large gatherings/events.

Campground Policies 

  • Payment in full is required for all bookings. Drop-in’s can be accommodated if sites are available.
  • Check-out time is no later than 11:00am. Unauthorized late checkouts could result in a“late fee” or denial of future reservations. Check-in time is 2:00 pm or later to allow for maintenance of the site.
  • Firewood may be available for purchase upon request. Protect our trees, and don’t move firewood.
  • Moving Sites - We reserve the right to move any 1- or 2-night bookings to another site.
  • Fees/sites are non-transferable.

  • Family - Only 1 family or total of 4 adults unit per site. A family consists of parents with children under the age of 18. Children are the responsibility of their adults.
  • Pets must be on a leash not exceeding 2 metres (6 feet). Owners are responsible for pet nuisance and clean-up of waste.
  • Vehicles – Maximum speed of 12km/hr. All vehicles must be parked at the site reserved or in the parking lot and must meet the requirements of The Highway Traffic Act. Motor vehicles not defined by the act (trail bikes/ATV, etc.) are restricted to designated areas.
  • Additional Shelters – A maximum of 3 pieces of shelter equipment is allowed per side – where space permits. Only one of those shelters can be a travel trailer, tent trailer, camper van, motor home or self-propelled camping unit.
  • Campfires are permitted only in the firepit supplied. Firepit is not to be moved within or from the site. No burning of garbage in the fire pits is allowed.
  • Recycling/Garbage - Please remember to use the recycling bins and garbage cans located in the park.
  • Quiet time is 11:00p.m. through to 7:00a.m. Pool/campground staff are not on duty at these times, but if problems arise, please call 911.
  • Picnic Shelter Reservations can be booked for private functions such as birthday parties and other family gatherings. A non-refundable reservation fee of $20.00 is required to confirm the booking.
  • Persons using the picnic shelter are responsible for cleaning up after use, leaving the shelter in a clean and sanitary condition at the end of the day.
  • In the event renters of the shelter require a liquor license, they must obtain their own Liquor Permit from Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries.
  • From July 1 through September long weekend, all holiday weekends are charged a minimum of 3 nights (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
  • No shows – if a reservation not been claimed by noon on the day following the arrival date and no prior arrangements have been arranged, the site will become available to a new camper. No refund will be given for an unclaimed site.
  • Fees/sites are non-transferable.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: 

Cancel 2 days prior to arrival for a full refund. 

Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, no refunds will be approved for discomforts of nature including rain. snow, winds, temperature changes and insects. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures. 

Refund Structure: 

Full refunds, less the registration fee ($5.00 + GST) will be given for cancellations of 2 or more days before your arrival date. Any cancellations within 2 days of arrival will result in loss of first night camping fee plus the registration fee. If you don't cancel your reservation, or don't show up, all fees are forfeited. A 'No Show' is a reservation that has not been claimed by 12:00 midnight on the arrival date. A 'no show' will result in the reservation being cancelled with no refund and the campsite will become available to a new camper. 

Campers evicted from the grounds for any reason in violation to the rules and regulations set out are not eligible for reimbursement of any fees. 

All fees must be paid in full 2 days after booking is made, if not paid site will be forfeited.
