Campground Description

Genesee Park Group Campground is located at 3053 Township Road 510A immediately west of Genesee Heritage Park and is a great spot for a large family camping trip or a weekend away with friends. A gazebo, group firepit, picnic tables, shelter, and washrooms are located here. 

Genesee Park Group Campground includes the following amenities: 

9 campsites with an individual fire pit at each site 

picnic shelter

central group fire pit 

double vault toilets 

walking path adjacent to Genesee Heritage Park with a stocked fishing pond 

water hand pump (non-potable water) 

Note: there is no power or firewood available at the campground; you'll need to purchase firewood in advance.

Campground Regulations:
1. All rules and regulations of the campground will be followed by all campers and visitors.  Violation of any of the regulations stated within this Agreement and within By-law 28-19 may terminate your weekend registration with no refund of pre-paid fees, and may be subject to fines and/or criminal charges.  A copy of the bylaw is available upon request.

2. Overnight camping at the park is intended for use by groups that have reserved the park and have read, understood and signed the camping agreement.

3. This agreement must be produced by the booking party at any time during the group’s stay in the park upon request by Leduc County Agents and/or Law Enforcement Officers.

4. The capacity of the park is nine camping units and a central communal area on four acres of land.  A maximum of 54 people are permitted to use the park at one time.

5. Keep all vehicles, RV’s and trailers on the graveled areas.

6. Off highway vehicles are not permitted.

7. Keep all pets restrained.  Clean up after your pets.

8. DO NOT harass the neighbouring livestock.

9. Beware of traffic along Twp. Rd. 510A.  There is a high volume of gravel trucks travelling on this road at certain times.

10. Alcohol must stay within the campground area.

11. The Group Campground is adjacent to the Genesee Heritage Park Day Use Area and fishing pond.  In the day use area:
- Alcohol beverages are not permitted.
- If fishing, make sure you have your fishing license with you.
- Dogs/pets must be on a leash.
- Clean up after your dogs/pets.

12. Any act that may negatively affect the vegetation (dead or alive) in the park is prohibited.  Do not collect or burn the natural vegetation.

13. Water from the well is non-potable.  It is not to be used for drinking or cooking purposes.


14. Fire wood is not provided.  Wood containing nails or other objects; or wood that appears to be affected by disease will not be permitted to bring into the park.  Fire wood is available to purchase at Jubilee Park Campground – Wizard Lake or directly from firewood providers as posted.

15. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pits only, and must be kept at a reasonable height, under control, and attended to at all times.

16. Ensure campfires are extinguished before leaving.

17. All personal items and garbage must be removed from the park upon check out.  The park and facilities must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

18. Grey water must be contained and disposed of at the proper facilities off site.

Cancellation Policy

If a reservation is canceled with more than 21 days' notification prior to the arrival date, you will receive a refund minus the $15 reservation fee. 
Cancelations between 21 days and 48 hours of the arrival date will receive a refund minus $190 which is equal to the first night's camping fee and the $15 reservation fee.
If a reservation is canceled with less than 48 hours notification prior to the arrival date, a refund minus $385 equal to two nights' camping fees, plus the $15 reservation fee, plus the $20 park improvement fee will be given.
A modification fee of $5 applies to all changes to current reservations.

Refunds are subject to credit card transaction fees.
