Very Nice!

Aug 19, 2023by Anonymous
We stayed Monday to Friday in mid August. We found it clean, nicely treed, friendly staff. The lake was busy with lots of fast boats, but it didn't keep the fish from biting some anyway! We had not been here for many years, as we found it too busy, but our experience this time was very pleasant and quiet on the grounds.

Great Time!

This was our first time at Jubilee Park Campground and our first camping trip in Alberta! We were greeted with a smile, were steps away from running bathrooms and warm showers, and just a quick walk from the store and beach. The campground felt safe and was clean & well taken care of!

Some nice sites, no hot showers.

There are a lot of nice sheltered and secluded sites. There are some you are very close to your neighbors. There was quite a few generators running after dark and there are showers but no hot water. There is even a sign on the door saying there is no hot water.

What a great campsite. We are going back for our 3rd time. Well mapped out, lots of choices whether powered or unpowered, more trees, less trees, close to beach etc. Great security. Well patrolled with officers very visible. Some dry toilets but also full washrooms with flush toilets and free hot showers (Hot water wasn’t working the last time we were there). Sites, roads etc. well maintained. The large sandy beach is fantastic. The well-stocked concession stand is great with a variety of items as well as ice cream and hot food. Firewood available for a decent price (or bring your own). I find some of the rules are a bit strict but if you want peace and quiet after 11:00 pm you got it. Wizard Lake is very long so great for skiing, wakeboarding or paddle boards. Hopefully next time out we will get a chance to go fishing. Happy camping.

Love this campground!!

We have stayed here twice now this summer and I can say this campground is so clean, the park staff are so friendly, the sites are great. We come with 2 tents, 2 vehicles, bikes and tons of kids stuff and both sites we have had were perfect!! The sites we have had so far have been pretty treed it which makes for some great privacy. The store is so handy and full of pretty much every item that would be left behind or forgotten at home and the prices are great. My kids love the ice cream selections too :) The beach is very clean as well as the playground. Thanks Jubilee Park Campground - we can't wait to come back :)

Beautiful campground with fabulous amenities!

We have found our family's new favorite campground! The sites are treed in and semi-private (most anyway), they are pretty level so we didn't have to block up our trailer. Lots of space for a tent. The concession and staff are absolutely fantastic! We rented a paddle board and kayak and we are now hooked! We loved the opportunity to try it out. Not many places have rentals anymore. The showers are free, but amazing! Facilities, including pit toilets, were nice and clean and didn't stink! The only downfall we find when we go, is the rocks in the lake. Getting into the lake is extremely painful (for me anyway) and really throws me off balance. Some rocks are sharp, others really big, and super slippery! Otherwise, this is absolutely our new favorite place!

Beautiful campground

This was our 1st time here last weekend! Beside me booking a none powered site without knowing we had a beautiful lake view. Definitely would return and will for sure at least once a week. Clean campground, friendly staff and wonderful beach for kids!

Great Staff

So close to the city!

We love that this campsite is within 40min from Edmonton. The lake is nice to paddle board on. Many of their sites have great privacy surrounded by trees. It’s our go to for quick city break.

Amazing place to camp

I found this little gem of a campsite, many years ago. The check in girls are amazing, campsites are always very clean, grass is always moved. I have no complaints with the campground staff. I did find them all very personable. The only thing I would like to see changed is that the people that patrol the area are more friendly. I only saw one girl I think her name was kaley she was amazing, i felt like I was bothering the other ones.

Relaxing and scenic

Love this campground. Site arrangement is well planned out. Sites are clean and well maintained. Just enough trees for privacy but not overwhelming. Has pit bathrooms as well as the shower house with flush toilets and free showers. Great beach with access from sites as well as day use area. Concession stand well stocked with wide ranging of items you won't normally find at a beach store. Good food, great ice cream. Campground is well patrolled to control camping abuse. If I found any fault it would be the extensive list of rules that are heavily enforced. Why drive hundreds of kilometers to find the perfect campsite. We found this one close to home and plan to frequent it
