Campground Description
Located next door to the new Leader Swimming Pool and within walking distance of all amenities, the Lions Campground in Leader offers road-weary travelers a respite. Surrounding by the Lions Park, a new playground, and their gorgeous Millennium Gardens, it’s a friendly stop along the road.

"If you are visiting the community and looking for adventure, Leader and area has plenty to offer. Check out the Great Sandhills or take a climb up the rolling Saskatchewan river hills along the river valley just a few miles away. For those who like to golf the River Ridge Golf Course has eighteen tee boxes and nine large green to make it a unique, friendly, but challenging course. Enjoy some time at their Junior Olympic-sized pool and you can’t leave Leader without visiting their newly built G3 Iceplex which accommodates an ice rink as well as a new curling rink. With its sandbars and sandhills, river hills and golf course, the Town of Leader is truly a unique part of the prairies.

Bylaws - You are responsible to know our bylaws regarding Smoking and Vaping and also Fireworks.
Fees - Camping fees are collected in full at the time the reservation is taken. Visa and Master Card are accepted. If paying via cheque your reservation will NOT be confirmed until the cheque is received and cleared by the bank.
Cancellation – You can cancel your reservation at any point. You will receive a refund minus $5 administration fee and 3% transaction fee.
Check in/out times – If the site you are in is reserved for another party for the following day, please vacate the site no later than 12 noon on the next day.
Quiet time – Quiet time is from 11pm to 8am. Guests are required to keep noise at a level that will not disturb other guests. Violation will result in being asked to leave.
Washrooms – Please help us keep them clean and tidy.
Pets – Pets must be attended to and leashed at all times, at no time are they allowed to be loose and running in the park. Please pick up after your pets.
Trash – Dumpsters are provided at the end of the campground, by the Swimming Pool.
Group camping – When booking more than one site, you will be required to pay for all sites reserved, plus all the dates at the time of the reservation. The Village will not be responsible for allocating various sites for those in your group. That will be the responsibility of the group coordinator.
Campground Rules and Regulations
- Any foul and/or abusive language or threatening behavior towards our staff WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! Violation of this WILL result in expulsion from the campground.
- Check in time will be 2:00PM, Check out time: 12:00PM. If you are late leaving without prior arrangement you will be charged for an additional night.
- Quiet time 11:00PM – 7:00AM.
- Consumption of alcohol out in the open is prohibited. Liquor is prohibited on roads, in washrooms, cook shelters, picnic sites and other public areas. Public drunkenness and rowdiness will not be tolerated and will result in police action and immediate eviction.
- Smoking is prohibited in the washroom facility.
- Campsites are only guaranteed for camping nights that are paid for. Campground fees cannot be refunded unless staff is given 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation.
- Liquid and solid waste must be disposed of in receptacles provided. Pouring waste water on open ground or in sump holes dug beneath trailers is prohibited. A sewer dump station is available for your use.
- No children under 18 years may camp in a trailer by themselves. Parents are responsible for their children and any damages they may cause.
- Only one camper or RV and one tent OR two tents per site are allowed (maximum of 2 units per site).
- Unsightly sites will not be tolerated. Please keep your site clean and free of garbage. Garbage cans are available throughout the campground for your convenience, PLEASE DO NOT LITTER.
- Do not damage, cut, or remove trees or bushes from the campsites. Any damage done is an offence and can be charged.
- Do not use fireworks, sparklers, or caps at the campsite.
- Obey restrictions on fires. Fires may be limited or prohibited at certain times.
Campers will be evicted and/or fined if any of these rules are violated. If the nature of the offense is criminal or violates any laws, police will be called and eviction will be immediate.
INFORMATION and CAMPGROUND POLICIES
Length of Stay Policy
- Check-in time 2:00 p.m.
- Check-out time 12:00 p.m.
- All campers must register prior to parking your RV unit or setting up your tent.
Camp Permit Policy
- No one under 18 years of age will be granted a camping permit.
Number of Campers/Units
- Limit of 6 (six) people per site (excluding families exceeding 6 (six) people).
- One wheeled unit (trailers, tent trailers, RVs) and one additional tent per site.
- Additional tents may be permitted for the same fee as a Tenting (open area) fee.
Cleanliness
- Please keep your campsite clean at all times.
Quiet Time
- Quiet time 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Quiet time is strictly enforced and noise will not be tolerated during these hours. Please respect other campers.
- There will be zero tolerance for loud music/parties at any time.
Campfires
- No fires.
Pets
- All pets must be on a leash at all times.
- You are required to clean up after your pet.
Grey Water
- DO NOT drain grey water into the trees or bush, or grass.
- Sewage dump is located in front behind Scott’s Fine Foods on Railway Ave.
Shower, and Washroom
- Located beside the campground.
- Shower and washroom facilities are free of charge for registered campers only.
- Please keep the facilities clean for fellow campers.
Self Registration
- Self registration is for one night only after office hours ONLY.
- If you do not have cash, or cheques.
- Please fill out the registration form located on the grey mailbox. Must register within 30 minutes of arriving at site. Place your payment inside the envelope. Drop the sealed envelope in the slot.
Liquor
- Alcoholic beverages are permitted in registered campsites only.
Damage Policy
- Any damage to trees, sites, or any camp facilities will result in payment for the cost of clean-up, repairs, or replacement.
- Liability for loss of damage to personal property or personal injury, while on campground property, is solely the responsibility of occupant and guests.
- Failure to observe the above rules may be grounds for eviction.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation – You can cancel your reservation at any point. You will receive a refund minus $5 administration fee and 3% transaction fee if notice provided is 72 hours prior to your reservation.
There are no refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals, or early departures.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Modifications are subject to a CDN$5,00 (five) fee.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
Total silence must be respected between 11 p.m. until 9 a.m.
Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
The price paid for this campsite is for one unit only. If additional units are placed in the same campsite, an additional fee for each additional unit is due to the campground upon arrival.
Arrivals: From 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Departures: Before 11:00 p.m.
IDEMNIFYING RELEASE
I, the person registered, wish to participate in overnight camping at the Leader Lions Campground in Leader, Saskatchewan.
In submitting this registration, I hereby agree as follows:
1. To save harmless and keep indemnified the Town of Leader, its officials, servants, and representatives from and against all claims, injury, loss, or damage to me or all members of my party’s person.
2. That I acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with camping/using Leader Lions Campground and that I or any member of my party could sustain personal injury through camping/using Leader Lions Campground, and I am herby accepting to take that risk on behalf of myself and all members of my party.
3. I shall accept the responsibility of observing all members of my party and usage of this facility and should I have any objection to the manner in which members of my party are participating or using this facility, I accept the responsibility to remove myself and the members of my party from the activity/facility.
This agreement shall be binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns.
