Campground Description

This family RV park is located in the City of Leduc close to the Leduc Recreation Centre.  We are 13 km SE of EIA (airport), and 25 km south of Edmonton.  We are close enough to the airport that you will hear planes.  This is a very busy park, so we do recommend reservations, but we are happy to accommodate drop in guests dependent upon site availability.  In addition to campsites, we have two playgrounds and a recreation area that includes two pickleball courts.  There are also two rental facilities - the Lions Hall and the Sparrows Nest Picnic Shelter.

Hidden gem in Leduc.

The campground was good. Friendly staff and clean area. What made it so special for us was its trails are part of Telford lake. Leduc Rec centre. 2km walk on beautiful well maintained walk / bike trails to lake and park like area. The airplanes might bother some but if it isn’t trains it automobiles.

Thank you so much for your review. We strive to keep our campground clean and well kept for our guests. The bike trails are a huge bonus to make easy access to the lake for our campers. We hope that you come back next year and enjoy our park as much as we do. Cheers

Far better than expected

We are interprovincial travellers looking for some stayovers. This campground is not far from dt of Leduc, with lots utilities and the most modern and cozy washroom I ever met with. Each campsite is designed not too close nor too separated which balances privacy and crowd fun. Only three tenting spots (exclude overflow tenting areas which don't have picnic tables) is a pity. Btw, I didn't find a place to wash dishes. Anyway, this is a very satisfied campground.

Great Campground - Planes really loud

Aug 15, 2024by Anonymous
The campground is great. Showers/Bathrooms are clean. Laundry facilities are handy. Playgrounds, walking trails and sports courts are really nice to have. The campsites in the trees are private and make for a great camping experience. However, if you are tent camping be aware of the proximity to the Edmonton Airport. Plane traffic is heavy and very loud. This is not the campgrounds fault, but tent campers might want to be aware of impacts to sleep with the plane noise.

Thank you for your review and "yes" at times the air traffic can be loud for the tenters. Like you said, "its not our fault" but the friendly, fun, enviroment here makes us for noise of the planes. We hope you will come back to our campground in the future. Cheers

It was just okay

Aug 12, 2024by Tracy McGrath
We had to get one of the 15 Amp sites as that's all they had left. We got that thinking it would still run the AC, so we would be good as long as we only ran the AC and shut it off to use the microwave or whatever. Well, it blew through 4 different plugs with the only the AC on low and nothing else running on power. My husband went to the office and they said the 15 Amp won't run AC. Which is quite funny to us, as ours at home runs it no problem. The water pressure was also very low. For the $49 it cost for one night and it wouldn't run the AC and lack of water pressure, it was definitely not worth it. No where does it say when booking that the 15 Amp won't run the AC. That's something they should think about posting before people pay almost $50 a night for a service they cannot use. So if you're getting a 15 Amp expecting to at least be able to use the AC, don't stay here. Also, there was no wifi, which was supposed to be included. So definitely not worth paying the money for things they say is included and actually are not. I was disappointed paying for services that didn't work properly and we couldn't even use. Not woth the money for 15 Amp. Maybe the 30 and 50 work better.

Great place

Jul 14, 2024by Valerie Christie
this campground was a great place for our family to camp at and use the hall next to the campground for a family reunion. Only thing I'd recommend is making it easier to be able to go in between camping and the hall. If your camping there and using the hall it seems as though you need to exit through the exit of the campground to get to the hall even though your camping there. However manageable and a great place to have a family get together.
