This is an awesome campground! Have been to multiple campgrounds from Ontario to the west coast, & this one is top notch. Washrooms are spotlessly clean & modern, activities are endless, & the grounds are extremely well kept, from mowing & trimming the lawns, to raking the nice Sandy beach. Only downside I can say, is no wifi or laundry facilities.

Just spent a month at a full service campground site. Being seniors we enjoyed the quiet, relaxing site and our time there. Having family and friends join us for evening bon fires made many treasured memories for us to cherish. Hope to redo next year.
Very family-friendly

Had a great time ,very clean and well looked after .Lots of things to do ,lake is great for kayaking ,large sporting area for events ,ect .Bathrooms very clean and kept up .Large playground in the newer area for kids to play ,although wished the town had upgraded the playground in the older campground instead of ripping it out .Campground managers very friendly and helpful .Will definitely return next year !!! We love it here. I have so many great memories of this place growing up and am so happy I can come back and stay as an adult.
That being said, the shower/bathroom building hasn’t been updated in probably 30 years..it’s the exact same as I remember it when I was a kid. Also, 95% of people driving through the campground did NOT adhere to the 10km/h speed limit. We were on a busy road with people driving up and down a lot and most of them were going over 20km/h for sure.

Beach is fantastic! We were there to visit a family member that lives there and booked three campsites all together. My SIL booked a site over the phone and wasn’t asked how many people or dogs, just the size of the camper. She had 2 kids and a dog. While she was uptown I was at the site with my niece, the campground manager came over and questioned the tent that was there and the dog because “no kids or animals were registered”. He was quite rude and condescending. One of the nights there was a loud and threatening disturbance that involved the police being called. When we complained they shrugged it off. We asked if they were leaving but were only told they’d be asked to leave if it happened again… which would mean another sleepless night for us… turns out it was the managers granddaughters site… There needs to be more garbages around. The boat launch beach has none, and the only place to bring garbage is by the office which is quite the treck from the other side of the park. Bathrooms were pretty gross, my kids refused to use them, luckily we were only there for a few nights and could hold enough sewer. The power is definitely not 15amps, it needs to be upgraded. We didn’t have any issues with our 30 amp, but the other 2 sites had breakers blowing like crazy (without AC/furnace running). The lady manager was very accommodating allowing us to check out late at 1/3 of our sites. Sites are very tight, there’s lots of privacy and thick bush, clearing a bit more space per site would maintain privacy and add a bit more room. We didn’t dare have a fire at our site as a gust of wind would have lit our awning on fire. We were lucky we were there with family and had a fire at their site since they were next to an open area (which we got in trouble for impeding onto). All in all we had a great time with family and at the beach which was our intention but for other campers this is quite the expensive campsite compared to others around, with less room and services.

hello, sorry your experience was not great, but we always practice to ask how many people and pets at a site, the campground manager did come over and ask as to why there was a tent off your site and you had explained that it was for your children which he was fine with but did ask that you pick up your dog feces. the complaint about noise was a person came on to the grandaughter site and started fighting with her boyfriend which led the police to be called , and thank goodness that happened as we dont know how far this person that came on there site would of went, we feel we did not shrug off the complaint as we discussed with the person and police of what had taking place. the bathrooms are cleaned twice daily, but with 171 sites the bathrooms do become quite a mess. thanks Rodney and Brenda

I am a member of the Newfoundland Dog Club of Manitoba. We wanted to hold a water seminar for our members and their dogs.
The campground management was wonderful to work with, very accommodating. The campground itself is lovely, clean and well-kept.
Our club reserved a site right by the water to use as home base for the day. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and are hoping to do it again.
Huge thanks to the management for for being open to having a small section of beach taken over by 11 huge dogs!

Minnedosa Beach Campground is a Town owned and operated Campground on the shores of man-made Lake Minnedosa.
There are a great variety of sites. Some are small, some are large. Some have thick trees, some are in the open and some are in-between. Some are unserviced, some are partially serviced and some are full-service. Some sites are of grass and some are on gravel. Most are fairly level.
There is a beach and multiple children’s play areas.
The Campground is well kept, has great services and is walking distance from Town.
The Town has done a great job of development and of making their local history easy to understand.
The adjacent lake is open to a great variety of watersports. Canoes and kayaks are available for rental in the Campground.
Wonderful place to stay!

Congratulations on this season. We stayed Rockin the Fields weekend and found the campground both beautiful and immaculate. The showers and washrooms were clean and tidy. We also needed some help and Rodney and Brenda graciously assisted. Minnedosa campground is lucky to have them as managers. They made our stay most enjoyable. Big thanks out to them!

Weekends spent away from work and city life are a must in a well balanced life. Mdsa is close enough to commute quickly from Brandon , the 15 amp power sites need an upgrade but the privacy of most sites is great . See you next year

Campground was clean and well kept. The bathroom and showers where clean. The caretakers where very helpful to us. Would really like to see the sites we used updated to a 30 amp service as we could not use our air conditioner on a 15 amp site but that’s all the was available as we had four campsites booked for family camping wonderful camping

Enjoyed the campground, clean, a little damp but with the amount of moisture this year its to be expected. Lake is great, campground was quiet at night, clean washrooms, mosquitoes were few and far between . Will definitely be back!

A beautiful location with lots of sites. Our site hadn’t been cleaned between campers with holes dug by dogs and bits of garbage strewn about.

This was the second time we have been to this campground and it was great as always! Where we had booked was a very spacious lot, no real tree cover but that’s what awnings are for. Lots of variety for lots with some looking like they could be tricky to back into but perfect for smaller campers. Grounds very well kept with grass mowed down and nice fire pits. Tons of activities for kids or adults like us who just wanted to enjoy the beach. We will be back next year (hopefully in the same spot) and bringing more people with us. Excellent campground and highly recommend!

Weekend Relaxer

Campground is in a excellent location if you want to spend some quiet time around a campfire and a day on the water with your boat or kayak, then relax on some sandy beaches. There is some maintenance that could be looked into but having a short camping season this year due to flooding in the area could be the reason. Not sure why there is no garbage cans around the campsite, but there is probably a reason. Would definitely return as it was the weekend getaway we were looking for. A heads up for other travelers, firewood is pricey.

The campground is well maintained with friendly, helpful staff! The communication is good and easy access to firewood and ice and nice beach with options for kayaking and water fun. Bonus was a limited mosquito population too! Neat features like book swap and pavalion to rent. Town might wish to improve signage to the site for newcomers as the sign in the building is not the easiest to spot, esp with construction.

Tenting sites are fairly private, surrounded by bush. Campground and washrooms were clean. Signs posted by management could have a friendlier feel....

Campground needs some assistance. Washrooms were not clean throughout our stay, showers are not cleaned, grass is not cut regularly, trees need to be pruned, ashes not emptied from fire pits. We have camped here for a number of years and have noticed a decline in how the campground is being looked after. A beautiful lake.

hi Rhanda sorry you had a bad experience, the washrooms are cleaned twice daily but having 171 sites theres alot of people using them so its tough to have them spotless throughout the day. Grass is cut on each site once a week but with all the moisture its hard to cut when wet. The fire pits are emptied once a week ,you had used your own firepit which if it was full we are only a phone call away to empty .We also noticed you had dogs at site that were not registered we ask if you decide to come back please register next time. All we ask is if there is something that needs attending to please give us a call so we can fix the problem. Thanks Rodney and Brenda
