Pool & Cook Shack Rentals Mon-Fri @ $25.00/per 2 hours not applicable on long weekends) Rates subject to change Overflow is available but cannot be booked online. These spots can be for tent or RV individually or in groups. OVERFLOW HAS NO WATER/POWER OR SEWER HOOKUPS. Generators can only be run from 8am-11am and 5pm-7pm.

LoginGreat Campground
This campground is great. Splash Park , Wadding pool, Ice Cream stand only on weekends open. Full hook-up's are super. Manager is very friendly.
Only one concern, a lot of the campsites could use more gravel and leveling.
Relaxing stay
Despite the sweltering heat and a trailer with no AC, we had a lovely stay. This is our 4th year bringing the family again, the grandkids still enjoy the playground and pool. The park attendant was extremely helpful. Having the ice cream shack open maybe a couple times during midweek would have been nice for cold treats. The Sedgewick library was a cool, quiet oasis for us. The men enjoyed golfing almost everyday and having it so close is convenient.
Very clean and great place close to home.
Great staff who are very nice and helpful. Very nice and clean, had the grand kids there for the weekend and we enjoyed the pool, spray park and ice cream shack. Nice for children to bike and play at the big playground. Lots to keep kids and adults busy. Clean washrooms and showers and water park. Staff work very hard to keep people happy and the place immaculate. we try to stay every year.

Sedgewick Lake Campground is a fantastic spot for both kids and adults. The kids' safe pool, splash park, and playground kept my children happily occupied throughout our stay. Even though the lake isn't swimmable, I saw some adults enjoying canoeing(I didn't).
I greatly appreciate the security at the campground; the staff regularly patrols the area to ensure everyone's safety. The manager is a very friendly and kind person, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The campground offers fully serviced lots, and the washrooms were always very clean.
The only downside is that if the neighboring lots are occupied, you might feel a bit of a lack of privacy. Fortunately, our visit during the weekdays wasn't very crowded.
Overall, I highly recommend Sedgewick Lake Campground, especially if you're looking for a kid-friendly place to camp.
Improving on a great campground.
We have been coming to the campground over the past 5 years typically in June. This year the most notable improvement was the site's cleanliness. No doubt a challenge cleaning up after most people when they leave, we only noticed one cigarette butt at our site versus over 30 during last years stay. Kudo's to the groundskeeper(s)! its a fine park and we will keep coming back year after year!
Sedgewick town residents and campground
We always have a good time here. Saw 15 pelicans on lake this weekend.
Saturday there is a farmers market from 10 to 2.
An ice cream shack.
A splash pool. The kids have a great time.
A book exchange.
Walking trails.
A well groomed wonderful golf course.
People in this town are proud of their community.
A wonderful hospital 6 miles away in Killam.
Our RV club Sherwood Park Hywaymen spent 4 great days here. We are always looking for meet members. We stayed in group camping with full hookups.
Very professional and very friendly
We have been going on this campground since 2018.Since then the service is getting better and better.Kids love the playground specially the pool.Staff is so friendly and if you need something they’re just like seconds and they are in your camp spot.If you just like to be on peaceful campground thats is near edmonton,i highly recommend this campground.Say less!!we love it
Amazing Family Campground
We have been coming to this campground for a few years and absolutely love it every time. The campground is clean, friendly and helpful staff. My little ones love the park and playground. Highly recommend!!
The secret is out!!
This has been a preferred location for the past 5 years. We'll maintained. Friendly staff and kid friendly.
This being said. . . It has become almost impossible to get a site that includes a weekend. Sites are being prebooked for the season. Weekends only, so be prepared to move if you want to stay through a weekend.. our last stay was for 9 days. The only spot available for that time frame was in the graveled parking lot with no trees. The campsite, aside from the parking lot was practically empty all week. it's just my opinion but you should not be allowed to book weekends so far in advance.
If you are lucky enough to find one, enjoy it.

Campground is well maintained and good site plans to choose from. Would recommend washrooms and pool be updated. Looking very tired and in need of TLC.

Awesome, kid oriented campground!
This campground was perfect for our kids! Big playground with sand for building, a pool and a splash park. Everything was well maintained and kept clean. Plus the care taker was very kind and helpful. We will be back for sure!

This is our 4th year here and we took a vote with our grandkids and will be back again in 2024.

No issues very clean and friendly staff. Weather was perfect it was our 3rd year going to this campsite loved it
Used to be wonderful
We found the campground to be extra crowded because some sites had 3-4 tents in one trailer site with many people in each tent. Bathrooms are looking very tired and dirty. Pool is also starting to look like it needs some TLC. Want this still to be our favourite campground but not sure we will be back again. That being said the very kind park attendant let us move to a quiet secluded spot which we very much appreciated.
Amazing wildlife
On top of being a beautiful and very well run campsite, the diversity of birds on the lake was fantastic! Something for everyone from Grandma to Grand kids!

Full hook up, little snack shack and small splash park make this ideal spot for families with small kids or golfers as there's a golf course next door.
leaving a review as hoping Flagstaff County see this. Caretaker last couple of years was amazing, and although a new fella this year, still great service. We'll be back.

Enjoyable
Spent 4 nights here starting Aug.22/22, during a very hot spell. My lakeside site was full service, well treed and provided lots of shade. This campsite has a variety of beautiful trees. The children in our group really enjoyed the wading pool and spray park. Appreciated the shower/ bathroom / laundry facilities. Another nice touch was the books available in the laundromat and mini library. Will certainly recommend this campground to others.

If the kids are happy grandparents are happy too!
We were in site #7 with a nice view of the lake and full services. The playground and washrooms were right across the road so made it handy to keep an eye on the grandkids. The weather was hot so the wading pool and spray park were used for at least a couple of visits a day. The lake was green, we did not let the kids in the water but we took them on a few kayak rides. I liked watching and hearing the birds around and on the lake. I also liked hearing the coyotes call in the evening and just as glad I did not see any of them. The squirrels are quite mischievous and the only thieves we encountered.

Our whole family has a great time here. Love our little campsite and will be back for sure next year. Ssshhh, keep this place a secret.
Poor Upkeep
Great place but the bathroom was extremely unkept and dirty. My family rented both cabins and they were also dirty. One had clothing from previous occupant and most definitely wasn’t swept out and the other was dusty and had unusable, broken blinds. It was disappointing for the cost to have to clean that much before use.

Nice campground with a few flaws
The campground is great with lots for kids to do.
However there could be a lot more work on the cleanliness side. The washrooms and shower house are not nearly clean enough. My parents also rented one of the small cabins and aside from the garbage being taken out, it was filthy. We camped right behind them and watched the gentleman fail to clean it before they arrived (other guests had just left) and after my parents checked out. Not sanitary at all.
Hidden Gem
This is our third trip to Sedgewick Campground since 2019. Great place to take kids, nice well maintained shallow pool. Campground is well maintained and some of the lots are huge. Will be going back in future. Another thing, Sedgewick has a very nice well maintained 9 hole golf course nearby.

We have been coming here for about 10 years now. This place is great for the kid! Skeeter Shack, pool, spray park, and park. All awesome for the kids. Well kept and clean.

What a hidden gem! Great campground with all the ammenities at a very reasonable rate. Clean large sites and friendly staff. The wading pool and splash was a big hit with the grandkids.
Fun place this stay
This is a pretty cool little campground. The spray park and wadding pool were great on the hot days. Backing right onto the lake was nice and you could hear the animals at night. It was well kept up and the sites are nice

Booking site
Booked site on web site, said no one in site booked but when arrived site was occupied and web site said it was empty. Nice campground but web site not accurate.
Can't ask for much more!
What a great place for a great price! Full hookups, nice washrooms if needed, and a friendly and responsive staff.
A few of the sites are not perfectly level, but all well grassed and most with good trees around. The town has a great food store, gas station and drug store.
I hope not too many others discover this as its certainly a nice place to stay without a crowd.
Great campground with everything you need
This hidden gem unfortunately won’t be hidden much longer. The “new” generation of Campers do not understand that getting a great rate comes with showing a little care for the facilities. A large group left their lunch trash and food all over the playground on Saturday as the snack shop was open. This leaves a mess for others to avoid and the staff to clean up.
However that doesn’t take away from the excellent campground this is!
Facilities, staff, trees etc make this a place we will return whenever we can .
Peaceful, quiet and clean
Always enjoy our time here. Large campsites, clean washrooms and showers, full hook-ups, and big mature trees surrounding you. No traffic noise and wonderful playground. Enjoyed the horseshoe pits too!

Very clean, nice size sites. We were the only ones there on the weekend so very quiet. Only problem was water wasn’t turned on yet. Friendly staff.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this campground. The staff were very helpful. The sites are very big and fairly private. They are also level! Full service at that price is amazing!!

Great Place to Camp
We just spent a week in Sedgewick Lake Park and enjoyed it very much. The campsites are always clean and also a good size. The only thing that would help is to have wifi available.

Great for the grandkids
This is the third time we have taken our grandkids, they stay in a cabin while we rent a campsite. The kids love it and so do we. Almost sorry to see it getting busier and more crowded. The peacefulness that we come for is starting to disappear, but we will still come back.

Unsupervised
No drive around wood sales anymore. No 24 hour manager so no security. Bathrooms were gross. Smelled like outhouses. Leaky pipes in bathrooms they have pails under sinks. I have been going here for years and now I'm not to sure if I will be back. Sure miss the quality of this campground compared to other years

We were there over the weekend and the campground was almost completely full. Unfortunately, the bathroom was only cleaned once a day and so the toilet paper ran out and it was quite gross by the end of the day on Saturday!
Also noisy at night (until 12/1am), though I guess that’s to be expected on the weekend and we were in a tent so there is no way to block out sound.
So many mosquitoes, but that is not the fault of management.
Overall, a lovely campground with big playground, dock to enjoy the lake from, nice campsites, would return.

Great campground. Should have called to book directly as this site screwed up the dates and we had a different site than what we had posted for a get together.

Fun, family weekend
My family enjoyed our first time here. Clean bathrooms with showers, nice well maintained sites, good, helpful staff and loved that it was a quiet, small campground with a good kid playground and splash park. We will be coming back and sharing with more family.

Cabin
The campground was your typical RV campground, bathrooms and facilities were very clean. The lake (pond) is not for swimming but beautiful. We stayed in cabin #1 with a bunk bed (twin on top and double on bottom). There was a small table and three chairs. Very cozy. Would've been nice to have a broom and dust pan. Otherwise exactly as expected. Plenty of plug ins to charge all of your things.

This campground is very well maintained and scenic being near the lake. Looking to the future they were planting trees and flowers which will certainly enhance the park in the future. A hidden gem near a cozy, friendly little town, Sedgwick, Alberta.

Outstanding!! 5 stars
We've been here several times and it's our new go to spot. Excellent staff, so clean and well managed. Beautiful sites. We have brought grandkids and friends and all are impressed.
Passing though
Stayed in one of the chabins, very nice and clean. I know that they have only been there a couple of seasons but a couple of things that would be nice a little table and a broom as it is very sandy there.

Very nice campground, well maintained with large spacious sites. Full hook up sites at a very good price. Some are more level than others but nothing a few boards can't correct. Grandchildren liked the wading pool and the splash park. Well done!!

The campground is very well maintained and tidy. A problem with some of the sites is they are not level so it would be very difficult to level a unit like a 5th wheel trailer. Site 4, where I was situated was so level, I didn't need to unhook the truck from the trailer.

Perfect for a Family Weekend
Amazing little gem tucked in the community of Sedgwick. Well cared for amenities, clean shower/bathroom. The kids really enjoyed the park/splash park. So far the most affordable camping with full hook ups I’ve been to. Will 100% be going back. Also bravo to the caretakers of this site. Clean and well manicured sites.

CHECK IN TIME: Is 4pm
CHECK OUT TIME: Is 2pm. Late check out is available for a fee of $10.00, based on availability.
QUIET TIME: is 11pm to 8am. Please respect other campers, excessive noise, use of profanity, loud music and obnoxious disturbances will not be tolerated. Children must be in their site by 11p.m.
PETS: Must be on leash at all times. Please pick up after your pets and do not leave them unattended. See Sedgewick Lake Park Pet policy for more information.
SPEED LIMITS must be obeyed always. The speed limit within the park is 20km/hr. This is a family campground so please watch for children especially near playgrounds. Motorbikes, ATV’s, etc. may NOT be used within the park.
MOTORIZED WATERCRAFT are NOT permitted on the lake.
ALCOHOL must be kept in your site. Avoid use in public areas.
FIRES are only permitted in fire pits provided. Fire pits are not to be moved. Wood is available for purchase at the cabin for a fee of $10.00 per bundle. No wood sales after 9pm. All fire bans must be obeyed.
FIREWORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN PARK.
SEWER CAPS are mandatory. Sewer caps may be available to purchase at the office. Dumping of wastewater or effluent on the ground is prohibited. Please feel free to use the dumping station(0.5km away) in town on the west side of the Golf Course.
GARBAGE is to be bagged, tied and disposed of in designated garbage bins.
ONE RV PER SITE or TENT PER SITE: A maximum of two parked vehicles per site. Tents on approved RV sites should be moved every 3 days. example 1-RV or tent, 2-vehicles, 1-tent with any additions charged an extra 10$/night to the maximum of 2 tents and 2 vehicles per site.
Tenting Sites are NOT serviced.
MATS ON GRASS: Help keep our grass green, please move your mats every 3 days.
POOL and SPLASH PARK: Hours are 10am to 9pm, Weather permitting. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no Lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool is free to registered campers. Visitors or daily drop in fee is $2.00 per child or $5.00 per family, to be paid at the cabin. Summer family passes can be purchased for $40.00/year at the office.
PLAYGROUND Children at the playground must be supervised.
RESERVATION POLICY: Reservations for long weekends must be paid in full in advance. 1 week’s cancellation notice is required or full amount will be forfeited. Group reservations require a 20% deposit at the time of booking and 1 week cancellation policy applies. All other reservations require 72 hours notice of cancellation or full amount is forfeited. (IF you know you will not be using your reservation, please notify the Campground Manager. IF your spot can be filled, a refund can be issued).
GENERATORS ONLY ALLOWED FOR OVERFLOW PARKING: Hours: 8am to 11 am and 5pm to 7pm
