The Managers are amazing people! They keep the park looking fantastic, and keep the showers and washrooms looking better than most places. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. This is a perfect spot for a family. Quiet and safe space to enjoy the weekend or summer. Everything is great about this place which keeps bringing us back.

Lovely family campground

We had a lovely weekend in early July 2024. Kayaked the whole reservoir! Pelicans, turtles, muskrats and countless birds! Nice huge green spaces. We stayed in #18, which is on the small size. This area is quite tight to back into & trees need trimming. Glad not many big rigs in. Next time think we’d book into the open area of #28 to #38.

Thanks for the amazing review . Look forward to seeing you again! 12-19 are original sites and a bit trickier for newer bigger rigs

Loving the many improvements

The campgrounds look very nice . The new showers and washrooms are a nice addition. The park for the kids is super nice . My grandchildren had a blast . The only thing was that it had rained just before we arrived and the road to our site was a muddy mess. Needs more gravel or something. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay . ( the weather could have been better , but not under anyone’s control)

Great campground!

We stayed for 4 nights during the Maguire Reunion, July 7 - 10. Excellent spot with new great showers. The sites are large and easy to access. I would like to request that this campground remain available for "in and out" camping such as ourselves. If you change to all seasonal, then in 5 years when the Maguire Reunion is held again there will be no place for the group to go! It was really fun to all be together and not have to drive to Souris or Hartney to stay.

Lovely place to camp

This campground is a very lovely spot to go if you are in southwestern Manitoba. For our needs, it is central to Hartney, Souris, Boissevain, Killarney and Brandon. Our site was roomy enough for our 30 foot motorhome and 16 foot enclosed trailer, our car, once unloaded from the trailer, and much more space besides that. The caretakers were kind and helped when needed, and they also showed much compassion when our car was rendered useless after an incident on a nearby highway. We will definitely book at this spot again on future return trips to the area.

I only got to stay 1 night due to camper trouble, but the hostess has been amazing to deal with! I can't wait to go back!

Amazing View from almost every site.

Jul 5, 2020by Mandy Landers
our family has been camping at Whitewater for 20 years and we love everything it has to offer. There is fishing complete with boat launch area. There is a beach with beautiful sand and they try and keep the weeds out of that area. It is close to souris so we can even commute if we choose to stay for longer periods of time. They have upgraded almost all the old sites and have built a few more very large full service sites. Almost every site has a view of the lake aswell. The Staff is wonderful l!

Loved everything about this place.

This campground in my absolute favorite campground to go to. The manager was super friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed. They are adding some new full service sites where the golf course was and I can only imagine how gorgeous they will look. I love how everything is so close together only a few steps away from the beach and the washrooms. Been here twice, my family loves it here! You can't been the sunset over the dock from your camper. Its absolutely stunning.
