Situated directly south of Michichi on Secondary Highway 849, Michichi Dam Recreation Area is a quiet getaway a midst the rolling hills of the prairie. Located 25 km north of Drumheller, it is an excellent spot to camp. Each campsite has a firepit and picnic table. There is overflow camping as well as a camp kitchen. There is a shower house with flush toilets. There is a sewage dump station as well as CSA approved playground equipment.
