Perhaps originating from Alberta’s longstanding ranching history (which of course has tied into the world-famous Calgary Stampede), the people here have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, resulting in lots of private camping options.

Kaduk Campground Smoky Lake is a nature lover’s and bird watchers paradise! Get away from it all and back to peace and tranquility.
The campground is 17 km from Highway 28 at the Bellis turnoff, or roughly 13 km from Bellis. There are 13 unpowered sites, most sites are very private. There are pit toilets, and a picnic shelter/tables. Picnic tables and fire pits are available at each site.
May be utilized for events like weddings, re-unions, family
camping weekends.
Use of quads is permitted in the campgrounds under certain conditions. The lake is best suited to small craft like canoes, paddle boats and kayaks.
Able to put in small boats (10-12’); lake is not good for swimming from the shore.
We do take reservations, and there is a $25 non-refundable deposit which is applied towards the first nights camping fees upon arrival. Camping fees are $25 per night per unit, with the first night fee being non-refundable.

It is a mature campground with plenty of trees. Campers have access to a shower house, laundry facilities, water, sanidump, fire pits in each site, two playgrounds, two boat docks, and one boat launch. There is no electrical service and most campers use generators during the times set aside. There is also a camp kitchen that can be rented for $25.00 per day for that special occasion. It come with electricity, camp stove, tables and chairs (indoor seating 20). Perfect for a child's birthday party as it sits adjacent to the playground and lake.
